Gossip Child labor case filed against Suchitra Krishnamoorthy

Model-actress Suchitra Krishmamoorthy has been trapped in a child labor case. She is accused of employing an underage girl for domestic help. Her house has been raided and a case of child labor has been filed against the actress. Kavita Gupta, the Labour Secretary in Maharashtra govt has maintained that the houses of Suchitra, Lakshmi and Uma Khanna have been raided.

However, the actress has denied the report. “The only underage girl in my house is my little daughter. My house has not been raided”. Ironically, Suchitra has been involved with a social work association, Saathi that works towards giving shelter and rehabilitation to destitute and runaway women and children.

Earlier too TV actress Urvashi Dholakia has been accused of abusing a 10-year-old girl child employed for domestic help in her house. She has been arrested for brutally abusing the girl. The actress is currently out on bail.

Suchitra is known to endorse many famous brands like Palmolive soap, Clearasil, Sunrise Coffee, Limca and Colgate toothpaste earlier and still remembered for her film, ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 1994.
